HA! This is amazing!

I just had the most awful customer service experience with The Company Store. I was calling on behalf on my 85 year old grandma, who was issued a CS credit card, sans her approval or knowledge. When I told them that she was 85 and hard of hearing and they can’t just issue cards, the woman (Linda) exclaimed, “Well, I sold something to a 95 year old woman today!”
WHO GIVES?
She was rude from the get go! She also doubted my grandmother remembered giving her SSN on the phone, to which I said, “She is hard of hearing, not senile!” Oy.
Bottom line: don’t order from the company store. Or else, you will get phone calls from your grandmother in which she starts, “Something. Happened. Today.” and you think she fell or was diagnosed with something or killed someone and then your blood pressure skyrockets.
Fun, no?
Thanks a lot, Company Store.
Grandmother: And, that girl Donna is getting fatter everyday!
Me: Is she pregnant?
Grandma: No, she works in a deli!
As if that’s a valid reason? Man, I need a book of her quips.

In case you’re wondering: my grandmother covers her peonies with a striped umbrella when it rains out. I love this picture. It sums up my grandmother so well.
