Meal 1: Giant bowl of sautéed shredded cabbage, with spinach, and 2 eggs + 3 whites. YUM.
Meal 1.5: a cup of homemade chicken broth
Meal 2: Chicken, salsa, tomato paste, cucumbers, avocado, and some shredded coconut afterwards
Meal 3: Ground beef, mushrooms, zucchini, and broccoli, thrown over a giant salad
Meal 3.5: A cup of pumpkin, with spices and coconut
Overall: I really am loving the warm pumpkin at the end of the day, and the vitamin A can’t hurt, right? I feel like I’m eating a ton of food, and perhaps need to keep my portion sizes in check. I also snacked a lot today. Which, I don’t normally do!
I cannot believe it’s the last day of my second Whole30!! I feel a little lost about where to go from here, mainly because…I’ve really adapted this way of life. I guess, what I’m looking forward to is just “living a paleo life” and not being so afraid of “messing up a Whole30.” For example, Eric had Mexican food today, and I totally could have eaten the chicken stew (chicken and tomatoes and spices) with guacamole, but I didn’t know what oils were used, and I didn’t want to “mess up” my Whole30. Normally, that’s a totally fine paleo meal to eat, you know? So, here’s going forward with a lovely and healthy and delicious paleo life!
