Meal 1: 2 eggs with cucumber and avocado
Meal 2: cauliflower, zucchini, mushrooms, and chicken
Meal 2.5: A bowl of veggie soup
Meal 3: Chili on top of a giant salad
Meal 3.5: a cup of pumpkin, heated up, with apple pie spice and cinnamon, with shredded coconut on top
Overall: Going well. Not really missing the fruit, ‘cause I’m having the permitted pumpkin (name of my new band)…we’ll see how this weekend goes. All I know is that at this point, after doing the Whole30 for nearly 60 days, and now the 21DSD, I’ve a) developed a will power of steel and b) have really gotten good at responding to people’s questions about all of this. I’m very open with my skin issues (which by the way, are slowly improving, thanks to two new meds, and hopefully my paleo way of life!), so people do comment, ask, and suggest things…and I listen and respond, and it’s teaching me so much!
