“You left me for the bright lights of the town A country boy set out to see the world Remember when those neon lights shine down That big old moon shines on your Kentucky girl.” —Kentucky Girl I’ve been singing this ALL day. Love it. It’s my “if I ever become a country singer, I’ll croon to this on stage” song.

i make shiny things: Not cool Urban Outfitters,... →
imakeshinythings: One of my lovely customers sent me a message today with this link. And here is my United/World of Love line: My heart sank a little bit. The World/United States of Love line that I created is one of the reasons that I was able to quit my full-time job. They even stole the item…  As a designer, this made me very, very mad.

On the subject of greek yogurt.
Liv: I have a blog question! I've started eating the Greek Fage Yogurt...and I wa wondering if you knew of any good (sugar free) ways to perk up the taste of it...maybe make it less rich? I used it with strawberries today, which was good! But, I feel like there's more I can do? Help, foodie friend!
Chef Jules: Personally, I love greek yogurt drizzled with honey and most of the time i mix it up with any kinds of berries, banana slices, and nuts. And i've used it as a substitution for sour cream a lot, like with taco salads or burgers. Oh, and I like it with my tuna instead of mayo, too. Or make shakes with it. Pomegranates are great, I love the different textures of the yogurt with the crunch of the seeds. I think I've been inspired by Melissa to have the next food of the day as flax seeds. I like to add them to a lot of things I make cause they're so good for you!

Made an appointment to get marriage license (NBD or anything ;) Supposed to go tonight to pick out Eric’s shirt and tie. We’ll see if that happens…when will this rain stop?! I can’t get into wedding mode with all this cold weather!

Boston Brunette: Tumblr Poll: What Have You Won?  →
bostonbrunette: I feel whenever I watch a game show, people will win and then exclaim “I’ve never won anything in my life!” But I doubt that’s true, I bet everyone’s won at least something, right? Here’s some random things I can think of that I’ve won throughout my years: (1) A Maybelline makeup kit from a… I NEVER used to win ANYTHING…until recently, weird things have been...
